What We’re Into
Blurbs I’ve had about things I like and sightings I thought were awesome or funny; but they made me think.
Having an sense of wonderment, an opinion, an insight or an “a-ha”. I can be sitting on the train and looking out the window and get the most ethereal feeling triggered by something I see, such as the front of the train from where I sit in the last car. It’s a perfect arc rounding the tracks to 125 Street Station of Metro North Railroad.
Whatever I am reading becomes note paper, because if I don’t scribble down the inspiration quickly, it evaporates and becomes a ghost and my continual jabbing to capture it is time wasted. There is no feeling like a misplaced Aha moment.
I once worked with a woman who, instead of using vulgarity, held up three middle fingers while saying, “Read between the lines”.
I didn’t get it right away, but when I did, I laughed.
Cheers!
