Hoover Dam
I visited Hoover Dam in 2013, and seeing it literally took my breath away. Most spectacular is the dam structure and the man-made water basin, known as Lake Meade. I was intrigued by the road high above the dam, the electrical towers and wires that were juxtaposed at unimaginable angles. Most notable were the varying shades of brown rocks and terrain and the lack of greenery.
If these pictures of Hoover Dam say anything at all about me, it’s that I like structures, open spaces, architecture, and machinery inner workings. (I know, weird!)
More coming…!
